"Nothing beats kindness," said the horse. "It sits quietly beyond all things."

Charlie Mackesy: The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse

I'm a BTEC Creative Media and MYP Design teacher, a qualified coach, and someone with a deep love of helping people work things out — whether that's in a classroom, a coaching conversation, a workshop, or a yoga class. I work with children and adults alike, supporting people with whatever life puts in front of them. This site is my honest attempt to share what I've learned, in the hope that some of it is useful to you too.

Have a read about my site below and you can use the images or navigation bar to move around.

Musings:

From yoga training to coaching breakthroughs to life in the classroom — this is where I put my thoughts down. Writing helps me make sense of things, and if something I've figured out is useful to you too, that's a bonus. New posts landing in 2026.

Coaching:

This is my jam. There is nothing quite like being part of someone's lightbulb moment — that point in a conversation where something clicks and the path forward suddenly feels clearer. I work with adults and young people on whatever is getting in the way. If that sounds like something you need, come and find out more.

Creative Media:

Photography, video, sound — I've been teaching these for years and I still find them endlessly fascinating. Here you'll find resources from my classroom, reflections on my own creative practice, and the occasional experiment that went somewhere interesting.

Mindfulness:

200 hours of yoga training, breathing work with students, meditation that worked and some that really didn't — it's all here. I wanted somewhere honest to document what I've tried, what I've learned, and what I'd do differently. No perfect practice, just real experience.

Teaching & Learning:

There's so much that happens in a classroom that never makes it beyond the school gate. This is my attempt to change that — sharing the resources, strategies and ideas that genuinely made a difference, for teachers, parents and students alike.
